I am Paula, a UX/Product designer from Toronto.
Born and raised in Colombia, I bring a global perspective to my work, grounded in a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and a Master’s degree in Digital Design. I’m a UX designer passionate about user-centered problem-solving, crafting intuitive, thoughtful digital experiences that balance clarity, usability, and impact.
Over more than ten years in UX and product design, I have led the evolution of multiple complex platforms, shaping experiences used daily by professionals across various organizations. I began as a UX Designer and progressed to Senior UX Lead, owning key aspects of UX strategy and leading multiple 0→1 initiatives from early discovery through launch and scale. These efforts established foundational design patterns and unlocked new capabilities across platforms.
I collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders, mentor junior designers, and translate complex workflows into intuitive, scalable experiences. Most notably, I have led the design and delivery of personalized digital experiences for professional users, setting new standards for user-centered innovation within the organizations I have worked with.
Beyond design, I train in agility with my dog, a practice that has sharpened my attention to detail, empathy, and collaboration. Navigating courses together reinforces many of the same principles I apply to UX: trust, iteration, and teamwork to reach a shared goal.

Photography
Even though I’m not a professional photographer, I love capturing everyday moments and candid shots of my dog, Milo 📸🐶

Crafting
I love crafting and have turned it into a tradition to design and create my dog’s Halloween costumes from scratch, creations that have won pet costume contests on two occasions. 🎃🐶

Agility
Agility with Milo is a fun hobby for us, where we enjoy training together, building trust, and staying active as a team. 🐶🦴
